At least theres someone in the same boat as us.

We knew the wifes would get refered and took a full specialist report with us (she has crohns but very mild) and have spoken to quite a few people that have got visas with this with no problems.

The waiting is a nightmare as this is the very last thing we are waiting on. Good luck with yours and let me know how you get on.

We are still waiting had our meds on 4march. Two of our still say outstanding yet under say received. 4 have all been finalised. Dont know if they have been referred or not. Our agent is going to email again to see what is happening. This waiting and not knowing is the worst part.

Hello. From my understanding if they are all down as finalised then you have had no refeals but your CO has not updated them. Should be soon for you.

I agree the waiting is a killer. I still have not got used to it and were almost upto 2 years from the start of our process now.

Hi there, Thats the problem. In total ther are 6 of us. 4 say finalised and two still say oustanding yet underneath it states they have tests have been received. so im left in limbo and not knowing what to think. Everything was ok at medicals so hopefully they just havent updated the file. Cant wait to be there now. Good luck with yours.

You sound just like my self.

After jumping through hoops for so long you want everything finalised.

I think ours took just over three weeks.

Our visa came through yesterday and to be honest it seemed a bit of an anti climax after everything.

I don't know if that's because it's now become reality.

So much to do after you get the visa but at least when you get it you know it will happen. Funny thing is getting the visa is probably the easier bit, moving to the other side of the world and starting all over again will probably be alot harder.

We must all be mad :err:

My medicals went from 'Referred' to 'Finalised' in 5 days...

Now just waiting for that golden ticket!

I guess there's no definitive answer to how long medicals take to change to finalised...maybe its all dependant on what the issue was!?

Good luck to those waiting! We were suprised to see it change in only 5 days to be honest! but glad it did!

Should be no real problems in the end though:skeptical:

We were in a similar position, OH and daughters Meds received and finialised, mine was refered... three days later it was finalised.... I think it will probably depend on the Medical condition in question. Mine was high blood pressure reading at Medicals, however I am on mild medication. Fortunately I had taken one of those 24 hour blood pressure monitors tests before we went for our Medicals so the Doctor at Medical asked me to send a copy of test to attach to Medicals for Oz.

Good luck with your Medical being finialised! your nearly there!!
