As you well know, not one applicant is exactly the same as the next. However, SS approval by looking at the guys on this forum' s timeline: there was approval for some within 8 weeks (big batch of applications) and then there were approvals within 4-6 weeks (smaller batch applications) in a particular time frame.

On to the visa lodgement and assignment of Case Officers, some got the CO's after so little as 2 weeks, others after 3 weeks and some had to wait 4 weeks and then there are some who has been waiting much longer than that.

You application will be uniquie! Just get it in and start the waiting process... You have to be in it, to go somewhere...

Good luck!

Karen

x;)

How long is a piece of string? - this type of Visa is quite speedy compared to the parents one we are waiting for. It takes nearly 2 years from start to finish!;)It is usually over a year from acknowledgement to CO being appointed but we bucked the trend and did it in 11 months!

Hi, our timeline was very quick - skills approved April - State Sponsored Approved May, visa lodged End May, C/O within 9 days and visa granted 4th July - so from haveing a positive skills assesment it took just 4 months!! ..so as everyone says...its the luck of the drawer I think and we were very lucky :) Good luck with all your plans :)
