Meds - what's the timescale?

Meds done - horray.

 

Looking at others comments it seems as if the visa can be granted within 4 weeks or so of the meds, assuming no problem. Is that what others have found?

 

Are we likely to get any other obstacles at this stage?? Our CO hasn't asked for anything other than meds and police checks and they've come back clear.

I have to make a decision within 2 weeks whether to take voluntary redundancy and it feels like I should take the opportunity as we are nearly there and the cash will be a useful cushion for the move ... decisions ... decisions...

We were just under 3 weeks from medicals being done, and visa being granted:D

As long as you know that there will be no problems with them, I'd go for the redundancy!

Thanks, it's just great to know that soon, one way or another the waiting will be over. Our timeline has been pretty quick all in all, we only started this in March last year, and the biggest delay for us was the close down pre and post election. You must be so happy - congratulations on your house sell, when are you planning to go? Do you know where you want to live yet? We don't have a clue as we haven't been to Adelaide, but they were prepared to sponsor me and I 've heard its really nice. We're going out in October for a visit all being well, and moving in January - but that all might change when we get the visa in our hands.

Meds and police checks done 5/4/11 conformation was received 4/5/11 that oz had received everything and visa was granted 5/5/11 woohoo very fast. If I was in your place I think I would take the redundancy. Whatever you do good luck

We had our meds on April 29th as William was saying I do. Received our Visa today.
