Hi,

Can anybody answer a couple of questions for us please?

1) We are bringing a couple of Dogs with us and wondered if anybody can recommend a pet insurance company for after we arrive?

2) What type of cover do they provide?

3) What are the rough annual premiums?

Cheers

Martin and Val

PS: Is there any law about dogs traveling in the car with you, do they need to be behind a Grille of some sort at the back of the car? 16_2_19.gif

Thres not many pet insurance companies over here.

The only one we found was pet plan - theres a gold, silver, bronze level of cover. The bronze is $318 a year for $8000 worth of cover. You can pay £200 and pay the first 25% of any vets bill.Judging by how much it cost us just to get our vets jabs done-its money well spent! They off course don't cover the dog for any pre medical conditions.

As for dogs travelling in cars - anything goes here!

You're not joking! The other day I was behind a Ute with 2 huge dogs on the back of it, no restraints whats so ever. Like Nick says, "anything goes"!!
