Hi All

 

I am travelling back to uk for a visit. I have a uk passport and a australian passport. Which is the best way to do it. Do I travel out on uk one and back in on australian one? Also I only have 8 months left on my uk one, do I need more validity on this passport to travel on it? Any advice would be much appreciates. Thanks Jono

You have to leave on the Aus passport if you are a citizen, and reenter using this one. Take your UK one for entry into the UK. However if the queue is long at the UK border and the non EU passport line is miniscule, use your aussie one. Makes no diff. If they query anything you just whack out your UK one. Take both...:)

Yes I agree..just take both! Hubby is Australian living here in the UK with both passports...when we visited Australia last year he had no problems whatsoever
