Work experience/no diploma

I am new here and firstly wanted to say Hello!

 

We are starting the RSMS visa process and need advice re skills.

My hubby was asked if he has diploma , if not can he get one? What does it mean really?

Is there a chance that his work experience would be equivalent to diploma qualifications?

That's really a question for a migration agent or to immigration. Seems an odd question though, "can he get one?", if you don't have one you don't have one. Perhaps they're referring to the potential of him going to college?
