Hi Everyone!

 

(A big sign of relief) We have finally been granted our visa!! We are so happy and shocked and now have all sorts going through our minds :goofy:!!

 

Thanks to all of you that helped us through this, this site has been fantastic especially as we did not use an agent for this process.

 

Good luck for those of you that are waiting, we have our fingers crossed for you all.

Where in Lancs are you? We are near Blackpool and all being well we'll be moving out July 2012. Just waiting to send off my wife's partner visa which we'll do when we come off holiday. Then once thats done get the house all sorted for selling and then hopefully everything will come together around July 2012.

 

Keep us updated on how things are going.

Oh brilliant! We will have to take a trip over to validate as we are getting married next year in Cyprus then we will probably be looking at the end of 2012/2013!

We are in sunny Wigan!!! I am originallyfrom across the bay in Heysham!! but have lived in Wigan for a few years now!

Hey Guys... Huge Congrats... excellent news...

 

I was so overwhelmed too but in a week or so things will calm down & start slotting in to place... just do 1 thing at a time & all will be fine :biggrin:

Nat & Gaz, congratulations on your visa. We know exactly how you feel because we got a fantastic wake up call this morning telling us our visa is now granted too. So excited and a million other emotions rolled into one.

Do you knw when you are planning on moving over to paradise??

Congrats on your visa too!! Have you been celebrating this weekend!

We are going to take a validation trip first as we are getting married next year, hope to make the actual perm move end of next year.

 

What will be your plans?

I will let you away with it this time :wink: !!! We are hoping to move no later than May 2012,however, all still up in the air. As we dont have jobs set up yet but are in the process of getting them sorted. Fingers crossed to get them sorted before we leave.

Massive congrats to you all!! It's such a strange feeling as you say. The chase is intense and then when you get it everything seems to pause in your mind for a short while before freefalling at 120mph towards making the move and then you realise the visa application was the "easy" bit ;-)

 

We're off in two weeks to validate our 176 which we got in June. Prob off for good after the school hols in 2012. Landing at Melbourne and driving across to Adelaide for a week to see locations,schools etc and then a hectic week in Sydney to see family and friends. Rush rush.

 

Hope it all goes smoothly for you all from here!
