State sponsorship - who should witness application cover sheet?

Title says it all! Does it have to be a notary or someone official?

I caanot remember exactly, but there shud me some indication about who can do that.

I took it to Australian embassy and they signed it for a fee

No, just not family. It can be your neighbour, your friend, a work colleague, a random person off the street (but don't tell them that, as they are signing to say you are you, so they are meant to know you lol).

That's great, thanks! Trawled through the SA FAQ several times and couldn't find any info on it. Perhaps I was just being blind, as your eyes do tend to glaze over when reading so many instructions all at once!
