TRA reference

I posted my TRA skills assessment, along with all paperwork required and the payment receipt over 2 weeks ago now, and have still heard nothing, if i attempt to log into the portal to track it, i'm asked for a TRA reference which i dont yet have, can someone please tell me if this is normal??? when will i get a reference number?

Hi, did you sent it via a courier that you can track all the way and confirm it has arrived. If you sent via royal mail it can take ages and you can't track it. Once it arrives at TRA they send you a conformation email and a reference number by email.
