To ship or not to ship!

Hi Guys,

 

After reading another thread on shipping costs we had a look around our home and decided that we didn't have enough belongings to fill even half a container.

Our settee is old and past it and all of our bedroom things are fitted as are one of the childrens.

Someone said that the TVs don't change over so can't think of what we would bring that would justify the cost.

What are the shops like over there for household items. Can anyone suggest any web sites that we can check prices out on.

we came with just suitcases..ive not missed a thing..except my dvds and xbox which i should of brought over.if you shop around you can buy good quality stuff cheap

Thanks for that think we will do the same and just bring our cases.

 

Still a bit nervous about landing with only a suitcase of clothes.

i have a 42" plasma, we were gonna ship with us along with a few other items... do they not work down under???

i just bought a 42"samsung plasma and payed $1600. electric good here imo are cheaper than the uk.
