Hello there, I'm currently holding 495 Visa where I'm required to live in the regional area for 2years and work full timely for 1year. I have been living and working in Adelaide for 1.8 yrs now and my 495 visa sponsorship was from the SA government. Now I have a job opportunity in Perth (that was recenlty announced as a regional area for 887 visa purpose and that's listed on immigration webiste). I wanted to find out if I have to live in SA for the two years or as long as it's regional area, I can live interstate as well? I rang immigrations and was told I can't (that guy doesn't sound too confident either) and then I went to the immigration office in Adelaide and was told I can, as long as it's regional area. Does anyone here have any ideas? Thank you
