Hi all, weve just had the first of 4 shippers round today to quote for a 20ft container from uk to adelaide, just wondering what everyones best deal came in at??? Thanks all

IIRC the average I've been reading round the forums atm seems to be around £4000 for a sole use 20ft container. Although some come in way cheaper, some more expensive.

 

Someone did this thread over on PIO for the top 8 companies, although some were whole containers, other were cubic feet and there are lots of replies with info also

Our cheapest was £4,100 and most was £4,300. All 4 came in around the same price.

we paid (in 2010) for half a container (about 38 various sized boxes) £900. That was with John Mason. No complaints either...everything went smoothly both ends and no extra charges I remember having massively different quotes though, so defo best to get a few to compare. Everyone has different experiences but ours was a pleasant one in regards to our shipment, good luck with it all
