have you got a complex case? we did it ourselves we got ripped off in the begining but ended up doing everything ourselves....looks a bit daunting to start with, but loads of help available...our advice was if you can understand english you can do it yourself ( that's from our friend in sydney who asked an agent there on our behalf) have faith in yourself good luck xx

you could also use them for only part of the whole process - like the TRA - and do the visa yourselves?!? - i think it all depens on your situation really.

we used Go Matilda (great for us!!) - and u pay them as you go along so you can always stop at some stage.

good luck!!

Hi

We used Visa Bureau and have been very happy

Stephen TRA was complex, he has been self employed under an umbrella company, employed, employed with a company who no longer exist, so there was a lot to do but they were very helpful and always returned calls and emails immediately. They only take your case if they believe they can get you in

Good luck with who ever you choose

We used visa go (www.visa-go.com) and they have been excellent particularly with regard to TRA application and any stat. declarations. Cost today I don't know but they did have a no visa no fee arrangement and the fees were spread out into three payments of £816, £587 and £587 when we applied. Those prices included certification of all required documents (which if self employed will be considerable) which can be an unwelcome additional cost if not included in an agent's fee. I would be guided by reputation and whether you like the way they sound when you telephone for information and an initial assessment rather than cost.

All the best Matt.
