Just wonder has any of the second applicant apply for PR due to primary application's ineligiblity, e.g. does not meet 2+1 conditions?

Does the secondary applicant need to meet additional conditions?

Hi,

You're a little vague with your questsion. Are you talking about the number of hours an applicant has to work to be considered full time?

If so when applying for an 887 visa it does not specify that the primary applicant has to be the same person who was primary applicant for the SIR visa. so the seconady applicant on your first visa can be the primary on the PR visa and vise versa.

Hi banjo70

Yes, if ONLY the 2nd applciant met the 2 year rsidency and 1 year work exp. Is it true that 2nd applicant needs to re-apply for state sponsorship. Is this just formality or it will be a quite strict process?

Anyone has the experience?

From what I 've read on DIAC - no they don't need to re-apply for sponsership. It's the same process exactly for primary or secondary applicant. I'm the primary applicant on a 495 visa but hubby is the one doing the work requirement.

We've met a lot of couples in the same position.
