Any Advice?

Hi ...can anyone advise me. I am a 49 year old mental health nurse looking to emigrate to Adelaide. I have failed to meet the points criteria which i think is due to my age? I have been applying for vacancies and trying to gain sponsorship but nothings happening fast. Does anyone have any adice that could help me?

i would suggest contacting a migration agent. Your age will probably have an impact but a migration agent can think of really alternative ways of getting you here, god luck (i'm a nurse too).

Hi Ann, have you done your ielts test? A high score on that can bump up your scores. You could get a freebie chat with a migration agent, if you look around the forum there are a few recommended ones, and they could maybe point you in the right direction? There are a few job agencies you can subscribe to, I get lots of emails (I am a nurse) and they always have mental health jobs listed. Good luck!
