Info on joinery experience

Hi there, can anybody help me?

 

Was just wondering if there are any joiners out there who have taken the new skills assessment with vetasses or are waiting to take it. How was it?

 

We have been thinking about emigrating for a while and OH would be main applicant as Joiner. I would like to know roughly how many years experience is required to be eligible to emigrate or is it different for each visa. Was told be an agent last week that he would need at least 3 years previous experience. He only really has 1 yr because he worked as a fencer before that and only decided to go into joinery properly when we decided that we wanted to emigrate. If this is right we have a couple of years to wait (boohoo!!!.

 

Any advice would be very hepful.

Have a rummage around http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm it will give you an insight to all the visa and qualification for each one.
