Welcome to PIA.
I think someone started a thread about this recently - have a look in the Migration Issues section.
This website is a mine of information so take an evening, a beer and read, read, read.
Also have a look at www.adelaidebound.com. A member on here created this site to make available all their reserch. Pretty darn good.
i will do that, thanks for the reply, talk about a fish out of water,
Still need the name of a good agent.
I think that a subclass 457 visa would be a long shot, to be honest with you. It does have age exemption provisions but they are pretty stiff. Please see the following links:
The age exemption applies for the 457 (temporary visa) the ENS and the RSMS visas. Please see here:
However, the skill needs to be on the MODL:
An Investor Retirement visa might be a possibility for you later on:
For Agents, even though they are nowhere near you, Go Matilda in Southampton and Ian Harrop & Associates near Oxford are both first rate:
Neither firm charges for an initial 15 minutes or so on the phone in order to provide you with some information about your possible options and they do not chase you around if you do not contact them again therafter.
So glad to have come accross Poms in Adelaide, everyone has been so helpfull, will try the agents you said,So heres hoping they can work miracles ha ha. will keep yous posted .
