Shipping basketware

That must appear to be the saddest title for a thread! Basically we have lots of Ikea wooden storage units with storage baskets that slide into the space (essential for hiding kids toys). The shipping comapny said we shouldn't ship basket ware as it's derived from plant material therefore a no no. Had a look at Ikea and can find any other item that'll fit these units that isn't derived from plants so just wondering is it really that strict? Thanks Ilovemybaskets.com/saddo

Hi guys

Ye would listen to the shipping company ,they do this day in and day out and if you was to bring it over and it gets picked up the cost is extortionate,

Could a member of the family not use it or store it for you , for the cost of customs to remove it it would prob be a lot less to buy a whole new set from Ikea over here to be honest..

I know its a pain and you want to bring everything but ,its down to what cost,s YOU less in the long run ...

Hope this helps , and good luck with the move and all

Elaine
