189 Visa and points

Hello

Hoping this is not a silly question... I have put in an EOI and amazingly got invited to apply for a visa with only 60 points. When I apply for my visa do the number of points make any difference? Will it be quicker with 75 points say rather than 60 (I can do IELTS to get more). Or once you are invited do the number of points become irrelevant providing you meet the minimum?

Congratulations u got invititaion to apply for the visa, priority processings are based on the visa subclasss and not on points.

 

Once got an invitation, you should provide the evidence to prove the claims u made in EOI.

Sorry for delayed reply! I am a doctor. I am not sure if that makes a difference? I have not worked out how they decide when to invite people!
