    Thread: 887 Visa - What's the update?

      Hi 887visa, have you paid the fee again? will you wait again for 5 months to open your file or they will consider your application now any idea? how many weeks you were outside Australia during there two years?

      yes I had to pay again will have to do pcc and npc's again and need to go through same process again wait. I was in oversease for 2 months first year of 2 years.
      I know people got visa approved they were on holidays for more then 4 months. I think they just want excuses now.

      Its Ridiculous 887visa, I have same scenario like you i have been 8 weeks overseas it was consecutive 2 week in 1st year and 6 week in 2nd , now confused what to do either wait of CO to allocation or withdraw the application and re-appy to save time, i applied on 10th of January. Any suggestion ........

      hmmm mappy it's upto you. if you withdraw by yourself then you get money back but if they ask you then you don't get money back. i think just wait coz 10th of Jan isn't far anyways. hopefully you won't be unlucky like me.

      hi as I remember someone got information about vacation duration from immigration. According to immigration policy we are allowed to get 3 weeks a year.(6 weeks for 2 years.)if we spend more than that we need to stay back to apply.

      yep you are right.. someone told me same when I applied but I didn't listen thought I'll be okay. they count days, should be 730days.

      the letter they sent me they did count how many days I was in overseas and Australia 🙇🏻😕😕😕

      well it's a classic mistake. U took a risk and didn't work out. Hopefully u will get it next time . Cheers
