Really great to hear some good news at this stage! Had two friends from China got their PR subclass 887 recently. One of them was granted directly after complaining the deprivation the right of getting First Home Owner Grant (process time:5 months ). the other one waited little bit longer as need to provide AFP (8 months from Jan 2014).
Congratulation on your PR. After long long time somebody got golden email in this blog.
Anyway if you don't mind, will you share your nationality and list of documents you provided.
Do you have kids and spouse in your application.
May be those information may give us some idea who are waiting here
1. Salary slips, tax return docs, appointment letters ( for both me and spouse)
2. Letter of housing bonds
3. Bank statements
4. AFP and police clearance from sri lanka
Yes. I had my wife and baby too included in the application. Baby is 4 yrs, so she was also under 475 visa. Therefore they didn't ask for medical or any other document.
Guys new Information for those who are planing to apply or already applied 887

I am new here. I am currently staying in Melbourne and holding 489 visa which is relative for a Skilled-Regional (Provisional). I am going to apply 887 in this Nov. Are there anyone staying in Melbourne as well?
It's glad that we has the same situation. Actually, I'm not sure if our 887 visa application (submitted in Melbourne) will be submitted in the same immigration office with the applicant in Adelaide?
