Just hanged up the phone with immi. I applied on 08/03, No CO yet.
I asked him about processing time, is it 6 months from lodged date or allocation date? he said 6 months from the date that your application received by department.
Does it make any sense to you guys??

guess it's good news after all. So far for those who applied around 15 Feb hasn't got updated yet. Do you guys think if I'd get a Bridging B and go back to my home country for 2 months will have any affect on the visa application? Maybe a police check or a health assessment will apply

Hey Guys, I applied for my 887 visa yesterday. But the e-lodgement system seems very difficult as it's designed for all the visa. At the time of application they didn't ask for any check list but when I am checking with my TRN they are saying that some documents are required like Birth certificate, Passport copies etc. Now how do I upload them? I tried to do it by attaching document to application but the check list is still showing 'Required'. Can anyone help me with a link? Thanks.

Dude ...nothing will affect your visa...Very simple if you are granted visa CO will ask you to come back...and if they need anything...you can still do in your home country...e.g Medical...so there is no issue
