[worst thing ever to wait for visa granted . QUOTE=jovdman;322105]The waiting game begins... [/QUOTE]
I believe you'll receive some news in the next two weeks. Just be patient Mate.
489 lodged: March 2013 - 489 granted: May 2013 - Relocated to regional WA: 23 Aug 2013 - 887 lodged and all docu uploaded: 22 Aug 2015 - Emailed GSM Processing Team and got direct grant on 12 Nov 2015
Anyone knows someone who got grant or CO this week? Applied on 27th July and still haven't heard anything, seems some delay.
When you lodged your Visa 887, have you also applied the "My Health Declarations" under the Online Lodgement?
I heard from a friend who had processed Visa 887 before, that they've completed this portion together with the Visa887 application.
Anyways, I found the answers on this link https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/...h-declarations.
I'll just have to wait for further advice from the Case Officer as I have already lodge the application and it will further delay the processing as mentioned. :)
Why use My Health Declarations?
Most applicants for visas to Australia need to meet Australia's health requirement in order to be granted a visa. You might be required to complete immigration health examinations in order to show that you meet Australia's health requirement.
The health examination and following immigration health assessment process can take several weeks to be completed. To avoid delays, you can complete your health examinations before lodging your visa application by using My Health Declarations.
You should not use My Health Declarations if you:
- have already lodged a visa application as this will slow down the processing of your visa application
- the visa that you are intending to apply for can take more than six months to process.
This is because your health examination results are generally only valid to be used for your visa application for a maximum of twelve months. If processing of your visa application is delayed, you might need to repeat your health examinations at extra cost to you and your family.
See assessment of health examination results for information about the validity periods for immigration health examinations.
Am here on 489 visa since March 2014 and planning to apply for 887 next year. Appreciate if someone can help me with my below queries -
1. Working on ABN and the payments are irregular even though working full-time. As it is a Sales job, am paid monthly Retainer and commissions. And there are no pay-slips instead I submit monthly invoices. Also, there is usually a time lag of few months between actual orders and when I get paid commissions eventually. Like last financial year total paid $25000. So, if someone in a similar situation has some invoice format or any ideas on how to present my case to department ?
2. Will there be any medicals for my wife and daughter, who stayed for 11 months in India before re-entrying Australia ?
