      Hi everyone,

I have only a couple of weeks to apply for 887. But I am not sure AFP police check should be submitted with application or should be done when requested by CO?
Also I don’t know which of the followings I need to do:

$42.00 for each National Police Check application from a government department or an individual.
$139.00 for a fingerprint and National Police Check application, where fingerprints are taken and processed by the AFP."

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Just wanted to know about the PCC requirement, is that to be applied from here in Adelaide or from home country, did you apply it online? Coz I have found in the website of vfs stating that the original passport needs to be submitted and may also take 2 months while PCC is applied, is that true?Is PCC required for both the countries ie home contry and Australia?
      Please advice,
      thanx jupiter_pastel..
when I applied for PCC..I applied it through VFS.
      Only took 10 days.

Fill the application form online..then print it.
      Sign it.
Submit the Application with your current Passport and 3 passport size photographs. You can do it either by Post or In Person at VFS Office Adelaide.
      Pay the applicable fee.
PCC and Passport will be returned by courier to your designated address.

      hope it helps..

Team13 looks after Refugees Visas becasue there are more complicated in sense of security...they time to time ask details if they need more info...it is nothing to do with CO...my bro who applied for 176 was asked to provide the form 80...

there is nothing to worry...you can provide the details as they requested and sit tight :)

      Thanks

      Thanks for your response Veer,
I actually checked the VFS site and there it was mentioned that it could take 2 months to receive a PCC, so I was worried since I may also be planning to go to home country India during the time. So incase they take the passport do they provde something to carry along if there is a need to visit home country? Any idea and whats the apprx fees for VFS for PCC?

You don't need to send your actual passport off. You can do it all online now. Scan your passport etc and attach it. Make sure you send all the files as PDF. My husband sent his as a different file and his took about three weeks longer than mine to come back.
It tells you which one you need for immigration. It's the cheaper one without finger prints. :-D
