Parents visiting

We're in the countdown to leaving and I'm currently putting together a file of information for my parents; how to use skype, our temporary address etc. They haven't said they're definitely coming to visit us but I want to leave as much information as possible if they do. Got most of the important stuff but know nothing about visas for visits? What would they need, where would they apply, how long can they come for at a time, will insurance cover medical stuff or do they need something extra - any help or pointers/weblinks would be gratefully received

If its for a holiday and less than 3 months an E visa 651 is the way forward. Have a read of the info from this page and the links off it.
