Medical 4 457 visa??

does anyone no if you need to do a medical when applying for a 457 visa. We are both from the uk.

No we didn't require a medical on a 457 visa. The sponsor might request a police check but that's all.

yes you do, i am a nurse so had to have a basic medical, blood tests and a chest xray, hubby just had a medical. Although that was 5 years ago so it may have changed

Claire, could that be because of your profession? I wonder if age is a factor which immigration may take into play.

Yes, just checked with hubby he doesnt think he had anything, i had the works as nursing, i think you have to for child care as well?
