Police checks and Medicals on a 457

I'm applying for my 457 visa and I've checked the check list but can't see it say anything about Medicals it police checks.

 

i also spoke to a friend who has a 457 and he said he didn't need to do either

Hi JDMARK.

 

im goin on a 457. You only need a medical if you are a nurse/ doctor/ healthcare worker.

This is because you are at risk of catching Hiv/hepititus etc.

I needed a medical. My hubby didnt.

As for the police check you only need one if you state you have a criminal record.
