ACS - Major or Minor?

Hi,

 

Just a quick query, can someone tell me what is classed as a major and minor? What would the UK 2:2 be classed as?

 

Or an MSc?

 

Just checking the criteria documents.

The major is the main subject studied in a degree. I think it's a kind of American thing, not related to the grade you got, be it a 1st or a 2:2 or a 3rd, rather it is what the main subject was. I think people take degrees with a major subject and one or more minor subjects - at least that's what I think it is!

Ah I see, so as long as the degree was an IT focused degree that would be classed as a major I'm guessing?
