I have failed for second time! Again I got 6 for the writing and need 7 hay ho third time lucky...... Any tips any one?

From what I researched, and what I did in my test, the essay part is all about splitting it up into sensible sections for the discussion. This might help as it goes through the structure - I found it fairly okay to deal with once I knew how to present it:

I also think using academic language and good descriptive text is key as well - so going beyond normal day to day words to show you have a wider grasp of the language.

I really really recommend the cambridge book (at the end of the post) as well its really good and has some marked examples as well for you - I've done a bit of IELTS tutoring since doing the test myself both here and in the UK and all my students have done really well, so think I've got a handle on it now
