Medicare on a reccie

Hi all

 

Going on our reccie in August got all the insurance ready but wandered what is the score with Medicare if something happens when we are is SA. My daughter has an epi pen but touch wood has never had to use it. Are we still entitled to medical care if we have full insurance or ??.?

You get the reciprocal if you are visiting as a tourist

As snifter says, reciprocal agreement nod your travel insurance should cover the $800+ ambulance bill if necessary
