A few questions about visas and sponsorship

hello everyone

can I just ask, do you not need to have a job over there in Australia before you can get a visa. My husband is finding it hard to get sponsored he is in Scaffolding business (scaffolding not on the skills list) he is a Supervisor/Manager so he could get sponsored but alot of the jobs you need to be already living in Australia. Is there any other way to get over there and get a job when we get there????

 

Also he is over the age limit for Working Holiday Visa, I think its 30 (he is over 40)

My sister lives there but she looked into sponsoring us but said that she was unable to...

 

Any help or advice would be great

For some visas you must have a job offer.

 

There are other visas for which this is not a criterion.

 

May I suggest you consult a registered migration agent fr an assessment of your visa prospects?
