It all depends on your control!

 

From my experience, with good HbA1c control, it posed me no problems.

 

I did, however, find that my experience of the diabetes care in Australia did not compare to the care I recieved on the NHS! I found myself emailing my specialist nurse in England on a frequent basis to get the help I needed.
