HELP - Bridging visa for Parent Contributory Visa

Hi all

So......Mother in Law is on a 676 visa and it expires in mid to late August!

I sent in her Contributory Parent visa app on May 30, but haven't had an acknowledgement of receipt as yet.

How do I go about applying for a bridging visa? She didn't have the 'no further stay' clause on the last 676, by the way.

Can anyone help? I'm running out of time........

Thanks

The most recent Contributory Parent visa I sent in was around 24th April, and we did not receive the acknowledgement letter until mid June. That is pretty normal. I would imagine you will have it very soon.

Hello,

just at wondering how this visa is going for you?

Myparents lodged their visa in nov '12 and got their acknowledgement letter dec '12 and we've not heard anything, no case officer, file number or anything ! It's been 16 months since lodging.

Is is this normal?

Thanks :)
