457 transfer

Hi,

 

I have been offered a new job and would like to take it. Does anyone know what process I need to follow - someone said its not a simple transfer anymore. The occupation is the same - does anyone have any experience?

If you already have a 457 visa your intended new employer must take over the nomination: the new employer must be an approved business sponsor and the nomination of the position you are going to fill must be agreed by DIAC.

 

Changes to the 457 program effective from the start of last month have raised the bar tho':
