What Type of meds/ x rays for parent visa?

Hi GANG!

 

As you know my parents now want to follow us out asap!

But with us going on temp SIR 495 i have tried to explain to them that they will have to wait a few years yet until we become permanent and hopefully be able to sponsor them!

By this time they will be mid 70's!

How does it work having medicals done at this age?

Do they still have chest X rays and full physical medicals and blood tests done like us?

I presume their age will be taken into consideration and even though they are on a lot of medication it is not life threatening illnesses (at present).

They just think now that they have decided they want to come and willing to pay the £12,500 each (or whatever it is)then they shouldn't have to wait so long!

Very hard trying to explain!
