We used Overseas Emigration for our process and had no problems with them and would recommend them. We came on a skilled independent visa, my partner works in IT and was on the skills list.
My advice would be very careful who you use as we were told by Four Corners at one of their evening sessions we would not be able to get in to Australia and another company told us we needed to wait another 2 years before we could get in. I had done my research before and felt that both these statements were not accurate so did some more research and came across Overseas Emigration who said we would be able to get in. The process from start to finish took 18 months and we emigrated to Australia in March 2007 and love it here in Adelaide.
Thanks for the post Jessica,I have a couple of meetings this week with migration companies and i am hoping one of them can help with the whole process,if the fees not loads.I just want one of them who can help with not just the visa but help with housing/schooling/jobs.
Thanks,Wish i was there now
we used access migration and found them really helpful and compared to some agents not too bad on price.

We've been using Australian Migration Associates Ltd from Manchaster. There are two ladies, Shiela and Shirley, who give free assesment over the phone, are contactable by e-mail, respond straight away. Everything has been done in a very timely manner. Very professional and pleasant to deal with. We've been through several stages of application: skill assessment, state sponsorship and visa application, then medicals and police report. I think they used to work in an Australian consulat, but I might be wrong.
Fully recommend them.
thanks hrub,I didnt think there was so many to choose from.A recommendation always helps
