linking new passport to visa

We have recently had new UK passports and so have sent off the required form to immigration, to allow our visas to be linked up with our new passports.

 

we have not recieved aknowledgment that this has been recieved and done.

 

We are travelling abroad in 3 weeks and want to be sure this has been done. I have tried to call them but was in a queue for 1 hour on a premium rate line from work, so couldnt hang on any longer. The last thing we need is problems at passport control!

 

Has anyone else recieved confomation from immigration when this has been completed?

Hi we were in UK when we renewed a passport. Filled out the correct form and emailed it to our CO who handled are visa. We head nothing back so contacted Oz embassy in London and they confirmed new passport was linked to our visa. Hope this helps.

Iirc you can also carry your expired passports.

We have to do the same as we just renewed my son's passport.

Iirc you can also carry your expired passports.

 

Staple them together.
