Hi all, been a member for a while, with the odd post here and there. I am under the understanding that come July, there will be some changes to TRA. These chages 'allegedly' will revert back to pre Sept, where a vaster number of trades can apply under the scheme. Just hope this will happen, and not be false hope. Anyway, if it doesnt happen, can always go for a sponsor. Anway, that isnt the MAIN problem. I am 31, my wife, 33, and our daughter is 2. We are trying to figure WHERE in Oz the settle. We are stuck on Perth or Adelaide. They both look appealing, but deciding is a headache. I have spoken to a colleage, who is from Sydney, and as put me off Adelaide, by stating it is a little out of it, with not much going on for the younger generation who are used to a lively area. Also, that it is a very religous place with a lot of church goers??.... This is not me speaking, but when someone tells you this it kinda sticks in ones mind. After all, its a life change, and i dont want to move to 'little house on the prairee'. Please, any ex Brits, tell me the real adelaide, is it as good as it looks? And is there plenty to do for young families. (kind of odd asking this question, as being in the UK, we hate the place so anything is prob better). Thank you all, and look forward to your replies.
