hi tio all members of Poms of Adelaide , well me and my wife are from london . Goverment of australia has granted us SIR visa on o7 november 2007. our intial date of entry is 06 july 08 . we are still left lot of workHi to in london , can somebody guide us , can we make our initial entry after 06 july 08 , our visa is valid till 07 july 2011.

 

please members advice us , its really important for us to know

You have to make your initial entry by the date you have been given and then you have until the second date to go again.

We have to make an initial entry by 7th Dec 08 and then by 2013.

its an end-stop entry date to activate the VISA based ont he date of your Meds & Police checks.

 

Lots of people use the validation trip as a reccie trip (if you can afford it).

All members of the family have to go, not just the primary applicant.

 

We were planning on doing a validation trip and going out later in the year, but with the amount we have lost on the house sale.... (only just under offer!), we have decided to bite the bullet and go.

 

Our last date of entry in 28th August, so we are in the process of pulling it all together and aim to fly on the 17th August 'cos the flight costs come down that date.
