Hello Folks,

 

Could you please help me to understand what is the benefit on Family Sponsored Stream over Tourist Stream?

 

Last year I brought my parents under Tourist Stream for 3 months as I wasn't not a PR. But this year as I have been PR now I am eligible to use Family Sponsored Stream and I want to bring them again for around 6 to 12 months of time.

 

But I am confused that I can't actually see any difference. One unpleasant part of Family Stream is DIBP will ask for bond money of each parent.

 

So could you please clarify this dilemma?
