190 september/october 2015 gang

Hello peeps

 

I thought of starting this thread so that we can support each other through this process.

 

We applied for 190 visa on 24/09/2015. We have finished uploading all the documents including PCC, medicals etc.

 

Now, we are waiting patiently.

 

Anyone else here who has recently applied for 190 visa?

Lodged visa application on 09/09/15 awaiting case officer.

Hopefully we'll get direct grants.

 

on another forum I read that many people who lodged in early august got they visas in less than 2 months.

 

We might be lucky too.

Lodged Visa application 190 on Sept 29. My agent advised me to wait for CO to request PCC and Medical. Hope everything will go smoothly after this.

Very quiet here, Seems like not many poms applied for 190 visa lately.

Lets hope we get our grants quickly.

Hope so.... the sooner the better. Need to plan so many things and any delay will only put enormous pressure on us. On the positive side, a friend of mine told me that property prices are softening. Hope we can get good deal once we are there.

Just read on another forum that someone lodged on 02/09/2015 and received the grant on 16/10/2015.

 

Keeping my whole body crossed for all of us here.

Things are really quite. Expecting CO to request Medical n PCC anytime this week judging from current trend. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Still no news on CO. I had uploaded PCC and Medicals done yesterday.

Hard to predict when will get the grant. Some getting it, in 4 weeks time and for some more than 4 months.

Need to pray hard and hope for speedy end of this waiting game.

an update, co contacted on 5/11. further info requested including functional english evidence of hubby who is uk citizen and resident by birth. i have completed the request. lets see whats next.

Hey 190 gang..... Today was our lucky day! Visa.... Granted BOOM! Happy Christmas to me!

Congrats brettcoleman1. Excellent Xmas gift for u and yr family. When are you planning to move and which suburb?

We were never in any rush, but really wanted the news before Christmas. We plan on moving in September - still a way off but we wanted our son to finish his last year in his current school.

We will have the house on the market in Jan, and will look for a flat to buy to keep a foot in the UK market.

Suburb wise? My thoughts are the southern suburbs of Christies Beach / Port Noarlunga.

Will ultimately be down to schools as a big factor.

 

Our closest friends and relatives new about the process that we were going through, but we kept it quiet from the majority until it was 100% confirmed. I announced it "social media" stylee and the response has literally been overwhelming!

Me too, planning to move towards end of 2016. However, want the GRANTS soonest possible so that we can start planning our move. With uncertainty and taxing wait, can really think forward. Hope the waiting ends this week for all of us.
