hi all, applied 887 on oct 5th, CO allocated today and requested for indian police check, but the thing is my passport expires on June 30th 2016, to apply for indian PCC passport must be valid for 6months or more from the current date. Need help + any solution

Which nationality? I'm sure you can easily check how long the average is. You will need to keep your CO informed so they know you are on with it. Any delay outside of your control and they will wait but you need to action things promptly.

 

looks like you will need to renew your passport then apply for the police checks. Don't forget to complete a change of detail form and upload your new passport to your Immi account too.

No ideal how long it would take to renew an Indian passport. The UK ones can be done within a three week turnaround usually, but I suspect that could be longer for India from other posts I have seen.
