Doubt on 887 Visa

Hello Friends - At last I submitted my 887 visa application.

 

I`m on 489 skilled - family sponsored visa. My visa expires on Apr 2018.

 

My doubt is, do I have any travel restriction till Apr 2018 ? When I lodged my 887 visa application, I have received a bridging visa and it shows " No Travel"

 

I`m planning for a vacation in Jan 2017 in India. Is there any issues ?

The conditions imposed on your 489 visa prevail while it is in effect; not expired or cancelled.

The bridging visa does not come into effect until your 489 visa expires so until then you are still on the 489. The bridging visa is there just in case the 887 is not issued before the 489 runs out.

You have to find out which visa is active right now, the bridging visa or the Family visa. Because they might have canceled the 489 while your 887 is being processed. If that is the case, then you cannot travel unless you apply for Bridging Visa B which allows travel, but you have to do this before you fly out.

just check your vevo and know which visa is active, you can travel on your 489 without issues unless expired the you have to apply for bridging visa B
