Hi

Can anyone tell me if I have to take a written driving test after 3 mths of living in Adelaide as my UK driving licence will no longer be valid. If this is the case then I had better start studying now!!!!! :confused:

In short, no.

 

Just take your UK licence into the motor registration place, with proof of address adn passport and they convert your licence to an Aussie one.

 

Gra&Jac did an ab fab post about this topic more recently. Do a search for more info or pm them for more detail. I don't drive and tbh I wasn't really paying too much attention when the OH was filling in forms and sorting out this stuff!:err:
