Thanks. I think we will do that. We are definitely getting to the time when we should have a case officer, so it would be good to avoid any more delays.
We front loaded police checks and medicals, we are on a 175 visa and i believe they are still looking at November applications. We applied in Jan 08 and got our visa a few weeks ago so front loading does help because when you get a case officer they already have everything they need
Hi - Gosh - I'm a bit worried about the time for our visa now after seeing your timeline?? Our agent said the longest it should take would be 9 months... but yours has been more than that and you haven't got a CO yet. What time line have you been avised? Am gutted, really thought we'd be there in Jan - but think this seems unlikely now

We haven't been advsed a timeline as we haven't used an agent. I think a lot depends on type of visa, how much your professions are in demand etc etc. I've checked the email that tells you where they are up to with processing and they suggest contacting them directly once they have gone 2 weeks past your application date, so we'll see whether we have to do that.

I started this thread off back in July last year and I thought it about time I bumped it back up to the top.
We found it very useful at the time and could easily see where people were in relation to our application. It didn't help get us the Visa but it sure did give us a good idea how things were progressing.
So for all those still waiting, why not add your time line here for others to see how things are moving?
Good luck to all those still waiting. We have been here now for 3 months and love it.
I also do remember that your grandma (or was it your mum) put a spell on your visa application, so that your visa did arrive a bit faster.
Would you mind to ask her if she can do the same for us please. :-)

Your Correct, it was Mum who does the spells she took over from Gran after she flew off on her broom stick for the last time many years ago.
I'll ask Mum what she can do although she has been a little poorly of late and may not be up to running around catching all those frogs and toads to mix in the cauldron. I'll ask her anyway.....
Watch this space...............
