finally visa granted

hi all

well after posting a couple of days ago to find all the August applicants for the sir 495 visa who were still waiting,hubby has just phoned me from workto say visa has been granted.which is Fantastic news.

now the bad news, been trying to sell house absolutly nothing we have till april to set foot in Adelaide,3 and a half years if we do a validation trip which having gone out there last year to do a reccie we cant afford to do that:arghh:,so this situation has slightly taken the edge of the celebrations as now we have the visa cant do a damm thing with it.

any suggestion as to what you would do in our situation gratefully appreciated.

Know it must be still a concern with the house etc.. but you've got the visa at long last, so that's one thing down. You may still get a quick/cash buyer, but if not - is renting it out an option? x x

I would go for the rent option if a buyer does'nt come along soon if you possibly can?

Hi Karen, great news on the visa, that's one problem solved. We unfortunately are in the same boat as you, have to validate by Feb -need house to sell to get money to go -only have a temp visa and NO BUYERS:arghh:

 

Hope we both get some luck soon meanwhile have a fews drinks to celebrate:wubclub:

We also know what you mean as regarding the house. We also cannot afford to rent it out as we need the money from it to buy airline tickets and pay for the container.

 

Good luck you have a bit more time than us as we have to get shot of the house and get there before december.
