I was at v festival in staffordshire, stuck in the mud when i got a phone call from our visa agent. Yipee, we have been accepted, they are letting us in!

We called up on the 14th (their time), our agent sent police checks(3rd time) and on the 15th it was visa granted.

I was jumping up and down in the mud, to say we are ecstatic is an understatement.

Thank you everyone, still feel a bit weird.

I don't have to check our status anymore, wow!

Sue, hopefully it won't be too long for you guys now.

 

Anyone want a house, looks like i'll be giving it away. Got another viewer tonight so fingers crossed.

Hiya,

 

By saying "checking status" do you mean "aspc" the pro forma thing I send off every Tuesday? or is there some other way of checking (fingers crossed there is) :-)

dont know if you know about this one type in

ecom.immi.gov.au/inquiry/query

you need your TRN number,and passport number

good luck you will be sorry you asked:biglaugh:

i carnt walk passed the computer with shovin the kids out the way and having

another look up:biglaugh:

Is that right?

keep trying:goofy: i have it on me favorites you see so i just click on

try looking on the australian emmigration websites its defo there

look out for it to say 'electronic application status inquiry'

am really no good at computers thats why i store everything in me favorites

can anyone else help out carol ann:err:

i google immi.gov.au and its about the 4th 1 down.

did you file online and do you have an agent? If so your agent should be able to send you the link.

Hiya..that's the one that did it..well done..thanks for that. So have gone into check and it basically says nearly everything is "required"..which I know for a fact is wrong. The aspc told me this morning that they have received everything they need. What I did notice was that it was being "processed further" on 12th August 2008...so looks like maybe something is happening.

 

Jeez..torture innit..sigh..one day it'll all be over...can't wait.

PS..jeez..since typing this and me going back in to double check the working it now no longer says "required" beside all the documents it just says "message"..lordy..maybe something has happened.

 

aaaaaaaaaaargh..I can't take it..off for a stiff coffee (what can I say..I'm at work..sigh..so it's coffee for now :-))

Thanks for that....glad I posted it....something to tell the OH when I see him later tonight.

 

We need wee boosts like this as we're a wee bit down about it. You so need the patience of a saint.
