Can sponsors cancel sponsorship if visa is granted?

Hi all

Due to the current economic crisis over here (UK) we have left off formally lodging our e-457 visa. Our main reason is that we didn't want to go through paying for the application, medicals, and everything else, only to find that our sponsors 'pull the plug' on us because we can't meet the deadline (sell the house). If we did get our visa granted would they be able to do that? This is the main reason why we are forestalling our application (although we are going to formally lodge it at the end of this month - Sept). If we do get our visa granted, how long would we have to come over before it expired?

Your thoughts and advice (as ever) would be welcome.

Cheers

Alan

Hi, we've been thinking the same. What happens if either party don't like each other, clash of personalities etc. Don't know where i've seen/read but I have it in my head that another Sponsor must be found.

We have a possible job offer - fingers crossed.
