finalised medicals

How do you know when the meds have been finalised do you get a letter?

We don't have an agent so I don't know what to expect.

We had them in May but had to wait until end of August to get some test results back for our daughter so they should be in Sydney by now (hopefuly)

Then if finalised from Sept we would still only have until May 09 to validate as that is when our police checks are valid from. Wished we'd waited to have police checks now but they requested when we lodged on line!!

However we didn't know at the time that our daughter would need more tests.:nah:

sorry cant really help, we went through an agent , he told us everything was fine or had been recieved , or what was needed etc

but if your doing it by email then i'd imagine they would reply by email, or it may be the case that if you dont hear then everythings fine,

after our meds were sent, we got our visa,

hope you hear something soon

We just had our visa granted about 5 weeks after the meds had been sent to Sydney. With regards to your police checks, if you contact your case officer he/she wil advise you if you can re-submit new ones. Date of visa runs from either meds or police check - whichever is the earliest.

Hope that helps
