Hi,

My daughter who is now 21 and was never, ever going to move to Australia has changed her mind!

Problem is, I have 495 Temporary visa and can't sponser her (I think) and she is unskilled.

As far as I can see, her only options are

working holiday visa

marrying an Australian

waiting until I have permanent residency.

 

Is this correct? Anyone else had this situation and can offer any other advice?

Might be worth a free interview with a migration agaent if your daughter is really serious.

Have you looked into a 'Remaining Relative' Visa??

Yes I've looked at that one but I am not a permanent resident yet. The annoying thing is I had a feeling she would change her mind once I had made the move and I did everything except beg her to come on the visa 'just in case'.

I just thought there might have been some route I wasn't aware of that you guys on here might know.
